Lehigh Valley Residents Speak Out On Proposed State Budget

Last Thursday, April 28th, the Lehigh Valley held a “Forum to Promote the General Welfare,” a public forum during which residents spoke directly with four PA State Representatives, shared their stories, and expressed their concerns over Gov. Tom Corbett’s proposed state budget.  In attendance were State Reps Doug Reichley, Steve Samuelson, Bob Freeman, and Joe Brennan.

In spite of tornado warnings and pouring down rain, the event was standing room only as over 120 Valley residents filled the room for their chance to make their priorities known to our elected officials.  Please follow this link to an article with descriptions of the incredible community member speeches and some of the responses from the panel of state reps.

25 September 2019 This is the highest turnout in the history of the agency, even topping the year HUD secretary Henry Cisneros spoke. There are over 250 good people here. Thanks to each and every one
